Page Industries net profit up by 27% at Rs 19.91 crore

Page Industries Ltd. a leading manufacturer of innerwear and leisurewear for men and women in India today announced its financial results for the quarter ending on 31st December 2011. Page Industries is the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc. (USA) and Speedo International Limited (UK).

The company recorded sales of Rs. 172.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31st, 2011, an increase of 28% percent from the corresponding quarter last year. The net profit for the period was Rs 19.91 crore, a growth of 27 percent. For the 9 month period ending 31st December, 2011 the company registered sales of Rs 529.12 crore, a growth of 39%, while the net profit for the same period was Rs 72.93 crore, a growth of 60%.
