Page Industries net profit up by 54% at Rs 89.90 crore

Page Industries Ltd. a leading manufacturer of innerwear, leisurewear and sportswear for men and women in India today announced its financial results for the quarter ending on 31st March 2012. Page Industries is the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc. (USA) and Speedo International Limited (UK).

The company recorded sales of Rs. 154.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31st, 2012, an increase of 39 percent from the corresponding quarter last year. The net profit for the period was Rs 17.05 crore, a growth of 32 percent. For the 12 month period ending 31st March, 2012 the company registered sales of Rs 683.41 crore, a growth of 39 percent, while the net profit for the same period was Rs 89.98 crore, a growth of 54 percent.
